Your 5-Hour Yacht Wedding Day, Hour by Hour
Here's exactly how your wedding day unfolds on the water. Every moment is crafted, every detail is handled.
Boarding, Photos & Ceremony
Guests arrive at the marina 30 minutes early for welcome drinks. Board the yacht, take pre-ceremony photos with the Miami skyline, then hold your ceremony as we cruise into Biscayne Bay. Your officiant performs the service with a panoramic water backdrop.
Cocktail Hour & Cruise
Toast with champagne as the captain cruises past Star Island and the celebrity mansions. Cocktail hour with passed hors d'oeuvres while your photographer captures candid moments against the bay.
Dinner & Celebration
Sit down for a catered dinner on deck (or BYOB reception). First dance under the sky, toasts from the wedding party, and cake cutting with the ocean breeze. The captain positions the yacht for the best sunset angle.
Sandbar Stop & Water Fun
Anchor at the Nixon Sandbar for a unique reception moment — swim, float on lily pads, take underwater photos, and enjoy the warm turquoise water. Groups love this as a once-in-a-lifetime wedding experience.
Golden Hour Sunset Return
Cruise back to the marina during golden hour with the Miami skyline glowing pink and orange. Final dance, last toasts, and the most spectacular wedding photos of your life. Dock and depart with memories that will last forever.

Sunset Ceremony Timing Tips
Winter (Nov–Feb): Early sunset, dramatic light
Sunset between 5:30–6:10 PM. Recommend 3:30 PM departure for a pre-sunset ceremony with golden hour photos during the cruise back.
Summer (May–Aug): Long golden hours
Sunset between 7:55–8:10 PM. Recommend 5:00 PM departure — plenty of daylight for the ceremony, cocktails, and a stunning sunset finale.

Real Couples. Real Yacht Weddings in Miami.
Don't take our word for it — here's what couples and families say.
"We eloped on the yacht at sunset and it was the most magical moment of our lives. Captain Mike positioned us perfectly so the Miami skyline was glowing behind us as we said our vows. Our photographer couldn't believe the shots. Better than any venue we toured."
"We wanted something different — not another hotel ballroom wedding. The yacht gave us a 5-hour experience our guests are STILL talking about. The ceremony on the flybridge, cocktails while cruising Star Island, dancing on the back deck under the stars. Absolute perfection."
"I was nervous about planning a wedding on a yacht — what about the weather? The caterer? My dress? The team handled every single concern. They coordinated with our florist, photographer, and officiant seamlessly. The day was flawless and we had ZERO stress."
"My wife and I renewed our vows on the yacht for our 25th anniversary with our kids and closest friends. Dinner on the water, a sunset toast, and the most beautiful evening Miami has to offer. Worth every penny — this memory is priceless."
"But What About…?" — Every Concern, Answered
Planning a wedding on the water brings unique questions. Here's why none of them should stop you.
"What if someone gets seasick?"
Biscayne Bay is calm, protected water — not the open ocean. Most of your event is spent cruising gently or anchored in shallow water. In thousands of charters, seasickness is extremely rare. For sensitive guests, we recommend Dramamine or sea bands 30 minutes before boarding. Our catamarans are ultra-stable with virtually zero rocking.
"What if the weather is bad?"
Our Miami Weather Promise protects you: if conditions are unsafe (high winds, lightning, storms), we reschedule for free or offer a full refund. We do NOT cancel for overcast skies or passing showers. Your captain monitors weather 48 hours in advance and will communicate any concerns early.
"Is the yacht accessible for elderly or mobility-limited guests?"
Our larger yachts (55'+) have stable boarding ramps and wide, flat decks. We can accommodate most mobility needs with advance notice. For guests with significant accessibility requirements, text us and we'll match you with the best vessel and boarding configuration.
"What if guests arrive late?"
We build a 15–30 minute buffer into every wedding charter for guest arrival. Your coordinator manages the timeline so late arrivals don't derail the ceremony. We can also arrange for late guests to water taxi to the yacht if needed.
"Will the wind ruin hair and makeup?"
We position the yacht to minimize wind during the ceremony and photos. The flybridge and covered salon areas provide wind-free zones. Pro tip: our best brides use professional-grade hairspray and opt for elegant updos. Your captain will work with your photographer for the calmest conditions.
"Can photographers work on a moving yacht?"
Absolutely — we work with Miami's best wedding photographers regularly. The yacht provides unique photo angles impossible on land: the skyline, open water, golden-hour reflections. We slow down or anchor for key photo moments. Many photographers say yacht weddings produce their best portfolio work.
"Will guests feel trapped or claustrophobic on a yacht?"
This is a common worry that never plays out in practice. Our yachts have open-air decks, flybridge areas, and spacious salons — most guests spend the entire time outside enjoying the views. We also make scheduled stops at the sandbar where everyone can swim and wade in shallow water. You're never more than 20 minutes from the marina if anyone needs to return early, and the captain can always head back at your request.
